Olivia Reiner is the Eagles Beat Reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer. Before she joined the Eagles beat in 2023, she was the Flyers Beat Reporter at The Inquirer for two seasons. Olivia earned NSMA Pennsylvania Sportswriter of the Year honors in 2023.
Prior to joining The Inquirer, Olivia was the Sports Multimedia Reporter at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for roughly three years, where she covered the Packers, Brewers and Bucks. She also covered the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for USA TODAY. Her video coverage of the Packers earned 2019 APSE top ten honors.
Olivia graduated with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 2018. Her accolades received at Northwestern include:

While completing her master’s degree, Olivia produced a 45-minute documentary called Off the Court that premiered at the American Documentary Film Festival in 2019. The documentary was a semifinalist for a Student Academy Award in 2019.
Additionally, Olivia freelanced at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea while completing her master’s. Her written work and photography was featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer and am New York.
Prior to graduating college, Olivia acquired professional experience at NBC Sports, WGEM-TV, NBC Sports Chicago, The Players’ Tribune and the New York Islanders.
